WOW! – Premiere 7th September 2017

Around 2000 years ago, Ovid wrote the famous myth about Narcissus, a young and beautiful hunter who felt in love with his own reflection in a lake. With „WOW!“, a choreography for four dancers , Stian Danielsen uses this picture in order to explore the different sides of narcissism – an epidemic of our time. The spectators will be drawn into a beautiful, yet unsettling space, in which the dancers constantly shift into extreme states, revealing the darkest, yet also absurd and funny shades of being obsessed with oneself.
